Marc & Francine Delaplante – Iroquois Falls, Ont. – Cessna 180K

We are both teachers and married for 25 years with 2 children at university. We love outdoor activities and always lived in Northern Ontario. I am a pilot since 1978 aircraft owner since 1987 with 1500 hours on Piper Cub, Stinson 108, and Cessna 180. We have travelled to various destinations including Oshkosh and all the way up to the St-Lawrence Northern coast.

We participated to the International Air Rally twice, in the Arctic challenge with my Cessna 180 on floats and the McKenzie River challenge onboard Peter Fuss Cessna Citation. This year I am ready ! Changing my floats to amphibian is going to make my participation to the rally much easier ! No more landing alone on a lake far from the group and no more exercising to refuel on the water!

Catherine & Camil work hard to insure every year that the rally is a success. We are grateful for the time and energy they dedicate before and during the rally. We all know it is difficult to please everyone everywhere especially pilots with a very independent personality. But security of the group has never been compromised and the participants come out always with a memorable experience!
